Panel Discussion for International Women's Day

International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated on March 8 by millions of women around the world. Each year, events such as rallies, fairs, marches, panel discussions, plays, films and receptions are held to celebrate the achievements of women. International Women's Day has come to be one of the most important symbols of women's efforts to achieve equality. Although originally fixed to a specific day, International Women’s Day is often celebrated throughout the week.
On Friday March 12, 2010 I will be participating in a panel discussion at Mount Royal University from 12 PM – 2 PM honouring International Women’s Day and discussing the achievements of women in Alberta.
